Welcome to the Miranda Community Garden (MCG)
Would you like access to beautiful organic food for free? Would you like to learn how to create your own organic garden? Would you like to learn from experts in horticulture and hospitality?
The Miranda Community Garden gives you the opportunity to help grow healthy organic food that you and your family can share. And you can learn how to live more self-sufficiently and more sustainably, reducing your waste and your carbon footprint.
The Miranda Community Garden was started by the Gymea Miranda Uniting Church in early 2010 on a block of land adjacent to and owned by the Gymea Miranda Uniting Church.
Garden members grow fresh organic produce and plants, share gardening knowledge and ideas, have fun and help each other. We have created a place where all members feel a sense of belonging to a community.
All our garden beds are communal and garden care and produce is shared between MCG members. Gardening takes place every Wednesday and Saturday morning from about 9 am to 1 pm.
The garden is situated at 15-17 Central Road, Miranda next to Coles.
You are encouraged to come along and give it a try! New members are welcome!
We acknowledge the First Nations People of Australia and show respect to the traditional custodians of Dharawal Country on which we live.
